Rail replacement stop locations

If for any reason our trains are experiencing unplanned disruption or route improvement work is being carried out, a rail replacement coach service may operate to keep you on the move.

A few considerations:

  • Rail replacement coaches may leave at slightly different times to the train times; please check times before you travel;
  • Customers must have a valid train ticket before boarding;
  • It will not be possible to carry cycles (except folding) or dogs (except Guide Dogs);
  • Pushchairs and prams should be folded down where possible.


During planned operation our rail replacement coaches are of a full executive specification which are:

  • Less than 15 years old
  • Low Emission Zone (LEZ) compliant or minimum EURO4 emission standards

  • Fully accessible and working toilet on all journeys of over one hour

  • Air-conditioning/Climate Control.
