How do I delete my account?

To delete your account on LNER.co.uk:

  1. Log into your account and navigate to your 'Account details' or use this link to go direct to your 'Account details'
  2. At the bottom of this page, under your saved cards, you'll find your 'Privacy options'
  3. Tap the 'Review privacy options' button to request your account is deleted. 

If you're on the LNER App:

  1. Tap the Account icon to open your account area
  2. Scroll down to find your Account details area
  3. At the bottom of this page, under your saved cards, you'll find your 'Privacy options'
  4. Tap the 'Review privacy options' button to request your account is deleted. 
How do I add a favourite journey or station?

All you need to do is click on the link "Save as a favourite journey." You can find the link under the Order Summary over on the right hand side of the booking screen while booking your journey.

To add a favourite station, just log into My Account and select Favourite Journeys from the menu. You'll then be able to add your favourite station name.

How do I create an account with LNER?

In order to purchase tickets on our website and app, you must create an LNER account. You can register and create an account with us at anytime. Simply visit My Account to get started.

How do I update my personal details?

Sign In to My Account and click into ‘Update personal details’. You can change anything like your email address, telephone number or password. If you run into any problems updating your information just get in touch with our Web Support Team on 03457 225 333 or email them here.

How do I access or correct my personal information?

You have the right to access personal information that we hold about you in many circumstances. This is sometimes called a ‘Subject Access Request’. If we agree we're obliged to provide personal information to you (or someone else on your behalf), we'll provide it to you or them free of charge.

Before providing personal information to you or another person on your behalf, we may ask for proof of identity and sufficient information about your interactions with us that we can locate your personal information.

If any of the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate or out-of-date, you may ask us to correct it.

How do I unsubscribe from emails and texts from LNER?

You can manage how you would like to receive information from us. You can opt in or out of receiving emails, texts and push notifications by going to your LNER Account and then My contact settings.

Please note that even if you opt out of marketing, we will still send you updates about your booked journeys and you can opt into LNER Assistant on each individual journey.

Can I delete an Early Bird Ticket Alert from my account?

Of course. If you find you no longer need to travel on a specific date go to your account, click on "Create a ticket alert" and you'll be able to see all your current alerts. Find the one you wish to delete and click delete.

How do I change my password?

If you have forgotten your password you can reset it by visiting the password reset link on the log in page. Alternatively, if you're logged in, go to My account and find account details. Click edit account details then click change password.

Please note, if you have previously used diacritics (characters with glyphs or accents) or non-UK characters, you will need to reset your password before logging in.
