Nothing but the best

We serve only the best quality products on board our trains, keeping all the ingredients we use as local as possible to our route. East Coast are known for their Great British breakfast and tasty bacon butty, so we have teamed up with an award winning farmer and wholesale butchers in Thirsk, just a few miles north of York.
“Sausages with distinction! Using only the best Taste Tradition pork shoulder and belly, our sausages are handmade, hand linked and we only use natural sausage skins. Our butchers blend the minced pork with locally grown Yorkshire herbs, spices and a few breadcrumbs to bind it all together. We try to keep all the ingredients we use in our sausages as local as possible.
The emphasis is on Yorkshire produce. The pork is from our own farm where possible, any other pork is from neighbouring farmers, all the pork
is from Yorkshire.” Taste Traditions Ltd
