Photocards
If you have a paper season ticket, you must have a valid photocard to go alongside it.
You have two options:
1. Switch to our LNER Smartcard: Your season ticket and photocard combined into a singlecard. You no longer need to carry both your paper season ticket and your photocard. Simply use our LNER Smartcard to travel. For more information, please use the link below.
2. Order a seperate photocard: If you wish to keep you paper season ticket you can order a Photocard to use alongside it. Use the link below to order yours now.
Before you start
Make sure you have the following items before you apply.
If you are ordering an Adult's photocard, you will need the following:
- A passport style photo
- A valid UK address
If you are ordering a Child's photocard, you will need the following:
- A passport style photo
- Proof of eligibility - proof needs to be provided that the card holder is aged between 5-15. This proof can be provided by giving details of either the card holder's Passport, EEA National Identity Card or Birth Certificate.
