Buy anytime, travel anytime
If flexibility is your top priority, then this is the ticket for you. With an Anytime ticket, there are no time restrictions; just buy a ticket and hop on board. Tickets are available in First Class and Standard accommodation and you can buy them up to a few minutes before your train departs. They are usually valid on the services of all train operators.
Anytime Singles normally cost half the Anytime Return fare. For shorter journeys, Anytime Day tickets are also available.
Validity
Anytime Day Singles and Anytime Day returns are for shorter journeys and are valid for one day.
Anytime Singles are for longer journeys and are valid for two days. The outward portions of Anytime Returns are valid for five days and the return portions are valid for one calendar month. Restriction codes do not apply to Anytime tickets.
