First and Standard Inclusive Packages Terms and Conditions

 

  • All-inclusive First Class packages can be purchased at any time up until departure but cannot be purchased on board trains. All-inclusive Standard Business packages can be purchased up until 18.00 the day before travel.
  • All-inclusive Packages are either valid on East Coast trains only, or on East Coast trains for the main part of the journey plus connecting local services where this is shown on the ticket or official travel itinerary.
  • All-inclusive Packages are valid for outward travel on the date shown on the ticket, and for return within one month.
  • All-inclusive First Class packages may also be used in the outward direction within the one month validity, but please note that car parking vouchers start from the date shown on the ticket.
  • London Underground zone U12 ticket included for travel to London only.
  • All-inclusive Packages include one free seat reservation per direction.
  • Reservations are not compulsory but strongly recommended for First Class packages, especially where there is entitlement to dine in Restaurant cars. Restaurant and At Seat Dining is subject to availability.
  • For customers with all-inclusive packages containing meal vouchers; the Restaurant and At Seat Dining service is aimed at peak business trains and is not conveyed on all trains on all days. Please check before purchase with the retailer or on eastcoast.co.uk/food for details, as refunds cannot be given if travel is made by a train not advertised as carrying these facilities.  Where restaurant dining facilities are not conveyed, meal vouchers can be redeemed for an At Seat Dining meal or a sandwich, sweet snack and savoury snack from the at seat menu.
  • For customers with all-inclusive packages containing car parking vouchers, parking is valid for 3 days (72 hours) from the date on the ticket. Car parking space is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. A ticket package will only include car parking if the originating station has an East Coast operated car park. Please note, parking for longer than the ticket allows will be charged at the daily rate applicable.
  • Where changes to travel dates are required, all complete and unused travel documents must be produced to enable new tickets to be issued. A new pay and display car park ticket will be issued for the new dates.
  • If the outward travel date of a First Class package needs to be changed, this can be done either before or after the original date of outward travel, provided it is within the 1 month validity of the ticket. The tickets should be changed through the retailer of the tickets.  Changes can also be made on the day of travel by visiting an East Coast Travel Centre.
  • If the outward travel date of a Standard Business package needs to be changed, customers must contact the retailer which issued the package, before the original date of travel. The retailer will re-issue all travel documents including a new pay and display car parking ticket.
  • All-inclusive Packages are refundable less cancellation charges if completely unused and returned complete. Partial refunds are offered where the return journey leg was completely unused.
  • No refund is given where: a) only the outward leg of the travel ticket is unused; b) the journey is partially completed; c) the car parking is not (or only partially) used; or d) meal vouchers are unused.
