You have a choice of taxi ranks, with the two closest being on Market St and Waverley Bridge just outside the station.

You won't be short of bus options in Edinburgh and many of them stop at Princess Street leaving the station at Exit 1. The 'Airlink 100' express shuttle bus frequently runs from outside the station. You can also buy a connecting train ticket to Edinburgh Airport from the station (ask for the Edinburgh Airport' ticket code K671). Make sure you have your ticket ready as you’ll need to pass through barriers to get in and out of Edinburgh Waverley station and there are likely to be ticket inspectors in place as well.
