La Favorita 

Thin and crispy pizzas lovingly and freshly made using dough from Padova Veneta and cooked in a 3000°C wood-fired oven have made this an award-winning pizzeria. RUSTIC ROMANTIC

The Witchery by the Castle 

Dating back to the 16th century, this gothic, wood-panelled, candle-lit space is ideal for impressing a date. It’s seriously romantic, and the food is mighty fine. It led the way for the revival of fine dining in the city and if you stick to the set menu it won't break the bank. Sir Cameron Mackintosh described it as ‘Delicious food in an idyllic setting’. You can dine al fresco in the summer.

Bread Meats Bread 

This no-booking joint offers burgers so packed to the rafters they have to be held together with a wooden pick. The signature Lothian Wolf burger has American cheese, crispy bacon, pulled pork in BBQ sauce, crispy fried onions and Nduja mayo. It's so happening it's even made cheese on toast trendy.
