Wireless internet access is free of charge on all East Coast trains in both Standard and First Class, in all East Coast First Class Lounges and now throughout York Station.
Whether you need to check your email, find out what's happening at your destination, or simply do a spot of online shopping, the East Coast free wireless service lets you stay connected on the move.
The technology combines broadband satellite and multiple mobile data connections to ensure continuous service along the entire East Coast route. Our system automatically selects the best connection in the area, which means your session remains uninterrupted throughout your journey, even in tunnels.

How to use Wi-Fi
Most new laptops and PDAs are set up to access Wi-Fi straight away. To get connected to the East Coast Wi-Fi service simply:
- Click on the pop-up that should appear in the bottom right of your screen
- Click to connect to the 'EastCoast-WiFi' network
- Launch your internet browser and enter www.eastcoastwifi.train
- Enjoy browsing!
