Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant
3 June 2012 - Starts Battersea Bridge 2-3pm; Finishes Tower Bridge 5-6pm
This summer will see one of the largest flotillas ever assembled on the River Thames. Up to 1,000 boats are expected to take part in the pageant, including those used by the armed forces and emergency services, as well as historic boats, wooden launches and steam vessels. There will be music, fantastic decorations, and some surprises - don’t miss out on this unique spectacle!
Jubilee Family Festival

If you’re traveling down with your family, don’t miss the Jubilee Family Festival. Hosted by Myleene Klass and John Culshaw, the Hyde Park event will give 50,000 people per day the chance to enjoy live music and entertainment, alongside traditional food and drink. The days will end with a magical 70-minute Disney concert created especially for the Jubilee, featuring all 10 Disney princesses as well as familiar songs and characters.

The BBC are putting on a special concert featuring British and Commonwealth musicians in the grand surroundings of Buckingham Palace, with artists confirmed including Shirley Bassey, Jools Holland, Jessie J, JLS, Elton John, Tom Jones, Paul McCartney, Ed Sheeran and many more.
