EAST COAST SEEKS VIEWS OF RAIL USERS AT DURHAM MEET THE MANAGER EVENT

Passengers can discuss rail services at Durham station

Train operator East Coast would like to hear from customers to discuss their views about its rail services at a ‘Meet the Manager’ event at Durham station on Thursday 9 February 2012.

Senior East Coast managers will be on the main concourse between 16.30 and 18.30 to meet rail users in person.

The event is part of East Coast’s ongoing customer engagement programme, enabling management teams to meet customers face-to-face and discuss what they like about the service and where East Coast can improve it still further.

Previous ‘Meet the Manager’ sessions at other stations on the East Coast Main Line have proved a great success.

Station Manager Phil Crow said: “We welcome customers’ views and we hope they will take a break from their journeys and use the opportunity to talk directly to us about East Coast’s train services, our new timetable and customer service.

“These events provide us with valuable feedback on what our customers think about us, where we are doing things right and where we can improve.”
