Streamlined online booking process
Quicker, easier online booking (and plenty of extras too)
Do you book your East Coast travel online? If so, we’ve got some great news. We’ve just made some updates to our online booking process, to make it even quicker and easier for you to book your tickets. There are some excellent new features – giving you lots of options to plan your journey to perfection. Take a look…
Remember your last booking
If you’re a regular traveller who uses the same route again and again, you can now choose to save this journey. Just click Remember last booking on the Personal Details page in Your Account. This will help speed up the process when you book the same journey in the future.
Save your favourite journey
Often book flexible tickets for the same journey? Here’s a great time-saver. Next time you book your journey, save it to Favourite Journeys in Your Account. After that, whenever you want to book the journey and ticket, simply select it from Your favourite journeys on the Buy Rail Tickets panel when making your booking and you’ll jump straight to the payment page.
Unlimited added bus travel with PLUS BUS
Planning to get round your destination city by bus? Well, now you can book PLUS BUS tickets while you buy your train tickets online. PLUS BUS is an added extra to your train ticket, and gives you unlimited bus travel for travel on the same day.
Buy multiple journeys at once
That’s right – just like your other favourite websites, we’ve got a ‘basket’ function, so you can buy more than one journey at once. Just look out for the ‘Book another journey’ button once you’ve selected your first one.
Got the feeling you’ll get peckish on your journey?
Why not purchase some of our catering vouchers while you book your train tickets? They offer excellent value for money – you’re guaranteed to get more food than you’ve paid for!
