London King’s Cross Refurbishment
Welcome to your new King’s Cross
London King’s Cross is currently undergoing a significant transformation. Since 2005, we’ve been working hand in hand with Network Rail, other Train Operating Companies and industry partners to transform King’s Cross into a modern, spacious 21st-century station, with extra trains, better connections and a more pleasant travelling experience.
Great news!
The wait is almost over - we’re pleased to announce that the station will officially re-open on Monday 19 March 2012, when the new Western Concourse opens its doors to the public. This involves a relocation of our Travel Centre, First Class lounge and some of the stations facilities into the western concourse as well as a number of great new retail stores
Why not take a look at the new floor plans/layout - you’ll notice some changes to the way you now enter and exit the station from the road or underground - we’ll let you know more about this nearer the time.
Exciting new brands
Some great brands will be in the new western concourse – including some which you won’t find at any other train station in the UK! Whether you’re after a quick bite to eat and a coffee to go, or something more substantial, you’ll have an array of places to choose from including:
- Benito’s Hat
- Fullers
- Giraffe
- Prezzo
- Wasabi
If you’re after some retail therapy or a last minute present, you can pick from some of these amazing stores...
- American Apparel
- Oliver Bonas
- Kiehl’s
- Hotel Chocolat
- Accessorize
We’ll be updating this page when more information is available.
