London King’s Cross Refurbishment
Welcome to your new King’s Cross - 19 March 2012
After a seven-year, £500m redevelopment, one of London’s most historic stations is now open for business and will once again welcome visitors with pride.
You’ll notice some big changes when you next visit the station including:
- the new Western Departures Concourse
- greatly improved access to and from the platforms
- a smart new First Class Lounge and Ticket Office
- fantastic places to eat, drink and shop.
Finding your way around
Before you next travel in or out of King’s Cross, why not take some time to familiarise yourself with the new station layout and read about the new one way system
Fancy a bite to eat or some retail therapy?
We're really excited about the range of retailers and restaurants which are setting up shop at King’s Cross.
Some great brands will be in the new western concourse – including some which you won’t find at any other train station in the UK! Whether you’re after a quick bite to eat and a coffee to go, or something more substantial, you’ll have an array of places to choose from including Benito’s Hat, Fullers, Giraffe Stop, Prezzo and Wasabi.
If you’re after some retail therapy or a last minute present, you are sure to pick up a treat at any of these stores opening on the 19 March - American Apparel, Oliver Bonas, Kiehl’s, Hotel Chocolat and Accessorize.
