Weekend Upgrades

Holders of valid Standard tickets can travel in extra comfort on East Coast services on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays, by upgrading to First Class accommodation labelled "Weekend First", on payment of the relevant supplement (currently £20 - £25 depending on the journey).

Valid Standard tickets include Advance, Super Off-Peak, Off-Peak and Anytime tickets, Rail Rovers, and BritRail tickets.

You must purchase a supplement on the train (for that train only) subject to availability of accommodation.  Please note that Weekend First cannot be booked in advance. Weekend First is only available on East Coast services.
