PLEASE NOTE THAT, DUE TO THE REDUCED NUMBER OF SERVICES RUNNING ON THIS DATE, WE EXPECT TRAINS TO BE VERY BUSY AND WE STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO MAKE A SEAT RESERVATION BEFORE YOU TRAVEL.
All-day, engineering work will be taking place between Stevenage and Peterborough.
Until 21.00, we will be operating a revised timetable with an hourly train service between London King’s Cross and Leeds and an hourly train service between London King’s Cross and the North East and Scotland.
Journey times from King’s Cross will be up to 30 minutes longer than normal.
Some of our services will also depart earlier than usual.
From 21.00, our services will start and terminate at Peterborough. Rail replacement coaches will operate in both directions between Stevenage and Peterborough, connecting into and out of First Capital Connect services between London King’s Cross and Stevenage.
The following train services will not run:
17.30 from Hull to London King’s Cross. Passengers travelling from Hull, Brough and Selby are advised to use our rail replacement coach service to Doncaster. Onward train services will be available from Doncaster.
19.10 from London King’s Cross to Hull. Passengers for Selby, Brough and Hull are advised to travel as far as Doncaster on the 18.40 London King’s Cross to Leeds service. Rail replacement coaches will operate from Doncaster to Selby, Brough and Hull.
