Keeping your luggage safe
All luggage stowed in the driver's or guard's van must be labelled with customer's name, address, contact number and terminating station.
East Coast also strongly advises that when travelling at peak times any luggage stored on board should also be labelled with the same information.
Unless checked into the guard's van, all luggage must remain within customer's sight.
Luggage must be stowed in luggage racks, overhead luggage racks and under seats.
Doorways, gangways and corridors must be kept clear.
Pushchairs must be folded down and treated as luggage.
