19.00 Edinburgh to Doncaster is a Dry Train

The 19:00 service from Edinburgh to Doncaster will be an alcohol free train until Doncaster. You will not be able to bring alcohol in any form, onto the train, or consume it whilst on board. This policy has been put in place to ensure that all of our customers can enjoy a more pleasant journey.

East Coast have prohibited the possession of intoxicating liquor from the above mentioned train service

It is an offence under Byelaw 4(2) of the Railway Byelaws, for any person travelling on the services listed above to be in possession of intoxicating liquor or to attempt to enter any of the above trains with intoxicating liquor.

Saturday 28 February and Sunday 1 March - London King’s Cross First Class Lounge will be closed

The First Class Lounge at London King’s Cross is closed for redecoration on Saturday 28 February and Sunday 1 March 2015. If you have purchased a Lounge pass, or redeemed Reward Points for a pass, you can request a refund by contacting us directly or calling us on on 03457 225 111

No trains between Retford and Peterborough on Saturday 28 February and until 12:30 Sunday 1 March 2015

Engineering work is taking place between Retford and Peterborough closing the line.

No trains will run between Retford and Peterborough. Most trains are diverted between Doncaster and Peterborough via Lincoln Central.

Buses will run between Doncaster / Retford and Peterborough.

Journey times will be extended by up to 90 minutes

Additional alterations will also apply:

East Coast will run a hourly service to / from London Kings Cross.

East Midlands Trains services between Liverpool Lime Street and Norwich are diverted and will not call at Grantham. Passengers travelling between Liverpool Lime Street and Peterborough / Norwich will have to change trains at Nottingham.

Passengers for Grantham should use trains to /from Skegness. Additional buses will run between Nottingham and Grantham.

Also the 05:10 Nottingham to Spalding and 20:59 Spalding to Nottingham are diverted via Peterborough.

Grand Central 08:52 Bradford Interchange to London Kings Cross / 10:48 London Kings Cross to Bradford Interchange will not run. Passengers should use other trains.

Some trains between Sunderland and London Kings Cross are retimed to run later than the normal timetable.
