Engineering work is taking place between Stirling and Inverness closing some lines.
On Friday the 12:00 East Coast service from London Kings Cross to Inverness will terminate at Perth.
On Saturday and Sunday buses will replace trains between Stirling and Inverness.
On Monday morning, the 07:55 from Inverness to London Kings Cross service will start from Perth.
On Saturday and Sunday trains between Glasgow Queen Street and Dundee / Aberdeen are diverted via Fife, calling additionally at Linlithgow and Inverkeithing with buses replacing trains between Glasgow Queen Street and Dundee via Stirling.
Trains between Edinburgh and Inverness (north-bound) will run between Edinburgh and Dundee and between Perth and Inverness. Passengers travelling towards Inverness are advised to alight at Markinch for a bus to Perth, connecting with retimed trains to Inverness. South-bound trains will run between Inverness and Perth, and between Dundee and Edinburgh. Passengers travelling towards Edinburgh are advised to alight at Perth for a bus to Markinch / Kirkcaldy, connecting with trains to Edinburgh.
Trains between Glasgow Queen Street and Inverness / Elgin services are replaced by buses between Stirling and Perth.
On Saturday trains between Glasgow Queen Street / Edinburgh and Dunblane / Perth / Dundee are amended to run between Edinburgh and Stirling with buses between Stirling and Dunblane / Perth / Dundee.
Trains between Edinburgh and Perth (via Fife) services will run between Edinburgh and Dundee with buses between Markinch and Perth. There will be some alterations to services in Fife, including Edinburgh to Dundee services which may run up to 12 minutes later between Kirkcaldy and Dundee.
On Sunday trains between Edinburgh and Perth (via Fife) are replaced by buses between Perth and Dundee and trains between Edinburgh and Dunblane / Perth are replaced by buses between Stirling and Dunblane / Perth.
