Accessibility

We recognise the need for this website to be accessible to everyone.  We have implemented a number of features designed to make the website easy to use, especially for those users with disabilities. We have worked closely with the Shaw Trust during the development of this site, whose team have tested the accessibility of the site for customers with different levels of difficulty which include:

  • No vision
  • Low vision
  • Colour blindness
  • Dyslexia
  • Deafness and the hard of hearing
  • Mobility impaired
  • Learning difficulties

An alternative text only booking route is also available and Describe Online can help you navigate your way around some of our stations.

If you require any further information regarding the accessibility of our trains, stations and how we can help, please see our Disabled Persons Protection Policy.

Customers requiring assistance during their journey should contact our Assisted Travel team on 03457 225 225, or by MiniCom Text Phone on 08451 202067.  Opening hours are 08.00 - 20.00 Monday to Saturday, 10:00 - 20:00 on Sunday.
